Superconductivity:

 American Superconductor  is developing superconducting transmission lines and wiring for motors and generators.  Incorporating products like these into CalGrid will result in a far more robust energy grid that can carry more current with less energy loss.

State of California:

 California’s Emerging Renewables Rebate Program  offers a cash rebate for installing an approved renewable-energy electric-generating system.

 California Energy Commission’s Renewable Energy Program  is a good first step toward 2020GreenEnergy.

Programs of Other States:

 Massachusetts Renewable Energy Trust  promotes the development of renewable energy in Massachusetts.  This program can provide valuable insight for the structure of the California Energy Agency (CalEnergy).
